Global Health Summit: Dreaming the Future of Health for the Next 100 Years

Finding and implementing effective solutions and innovative ideas for the benefit of global health requires a firm understanding of the challenges ahead and thoughtful and visionary leadership to address them. That is why The Rockefeller Foundation, in conjunction with Peking Union Medical College, brought together leaders from all over the world to identify some of the key health challenges of tomorrow and ways to address them. Working together with The Rockefeller Foundation, participants were challenged to create a vision for the future of health, inspire others to join the cause and ultimately lead the charge for healthier societies.

Innovation Forum 2012

Innovation is the hallmark of the Rockefeller Foundation's century of groundbreaking initiatives. It has characterized the Foundation's most compelling and life-saving work, from the development of a Nobel-prize winning vaccine for yellow fever in the 1930s, to the agriculture techniques pioneered by Rockefeller scientists that enabled the Green Revolution in the 1960s. The 2012 Innovation Forum focused on working together to identify how innovation can be applied in new and interesting ways to promote the well being of humanity around the world.

Embracing Change: Building Social, Economic and Environmental Resilience

This exclusive and dynamic gathering sought to identify ways that individuals, communities, regions and nations can enhance their resilience capacity and emerge stronger from social, economic and environmental crises. It was a uniquely intimate idea-generating session of 100-125 global thinkers, pioneers and implementers from a variety of backgrounds, including government, business, finance, cyber-security, disaster preparedness and more.
